RADIOGRAPHY EXAM REVIEW

This is a review of the basic concepts of oral and maxillofacial radiology, which covers the historical background of X-Rays, radiation physics, biology, radiation protection, infection control, dental X-ray machine components, dental film, digital receptor, anatomical landmarks, bitewings, periapical exposures, mounting films, and identifying and correcting exposure or processing errors. Participants will expose, process, mount, and evaluate the radiographs on manikins.

This is an excellent review for dental assistants planning to take the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) to become a Licensed Dental Assistant (RDA).
